Stabat Mater
Cadenza Classics presents a sensory and spiritual journey where classical music meets the timeless atmosphere of Saint Francis de Sales. On April 4th, at 7:00 PM, join us at the historic church for Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
Renowned for its extraordinary beauty and profound spiritual depth, this baroque masterpiece offers a moment for reflection in an exceptional setting, a neo-Gothic sanctuary illuminated by the natural glow of wax candles.
The program is a passage through centuries of musical tradition, reconnecting us with the legacy of our forebears. A string ensemble accompanied by two distinguished soloists, a soprano and a contralto, will guide us through an intimate, moving experience.
